History

According to the dictionary the word  Tradition means  "The handing  down  of information,  beliefs  and customs by word of mouth or by example  from  one generation to another".

Since 1898 it has been the "tradition" of the Pastore family to make available to the public only the very finest quality Italian food products that money can buy at a minimum cost to our  customers.   It  is  with  this  same  tradition  and  pride  that  my  family  and  I have introduced the  Sun of Italy  brand complete  line of  quality  Italian  food products for the home.  Sun of Italy's  bright  yellow label and attractive packaging combined with a diverse
assortment of beans,  cheese,  mushrooms,  olives,  olive oil,  peppers,  spices,  tomatoes, pizzas and frozen pasta products make up a line of merchandise irresistible to the shoppers eye and taste.  In addition to the  Sun of Italy  line,  we have  carefully  selected other fine brands to join our family of quality products for distribution.  Remember  you don't have to be Italian to enjoy the taste of delicious authentic Italian food  right in your own home.
